Greeting Athletes & Parents,

As the season is winding down, just some fun things to report on this week.

Caroline Classic

Thanks again to all athletes, parents, volunteers, and coaches for making this
year's event a real success. We have gotten numerous calls and e-mails
congratulating us on hosting a first class event - thank you!! The results are
posted on our website www.sublettecountysnowsports.org under Blog and Bulletin
Board. Also, check out Pinedale Online!, this week's local papers, and the
shutterfly share site for coverage of the event and photos.

Pinedale Wrangler's Girls State Alpine Champs!!

Congratulations to the Pinedale Girls High School Alpine Team winning the state
title!! All but one are members of the SCSSA and ski on the club's Race Team.
Coach Jeff Wohl is our head coach, as well as the head coach for the High School
Alpine Team (Boys & Girls). Check out our website for some photos and the Thriller
video of the team. As one of the primary goals of the SCSSA program is to feed the
high school team, we believe that this championship further shows the importance of
the SCSSA to athletes in the county.

April 4th, Last Practice - Fun Day at White Pine

Come early and stay late for our last practice of the season. Fun and games are in
store and costumes (chairlift appropriate) are strongly encouraged - see attached
photo. Practice will go until 3 pm and then we will gather at 4 pm for an après ski
party and fun awards. Hope everyone can make it!

SCSSA Fleece Vests - In Stock & On Sale Now

This year the club has ordered fleece vests with the SCSSA logo embroidered on them.

We are selling them at cost - $35 each (no tax) for youth or adult.

For adults - Black vests in S, M, L, XL

For kids - Red vests in youth S, M, L and Adult S

Laurel at the Stichin' Post did them for us - and they look great!

She is also available to embroider your name (or nickname!) on your vest - stop by
and see her at her new location next to Two Rivers Emporium.

We already have a bunch in stock, so just e-mail me an order and I will get them to
you.

White Pine Season Passes

The best time to buy your season pass is this Spring!

Watch for season passes to go on sale sometime soon - the pass is good for the
remainder of this season and next season - last year the savings was $100!

Next Season - We want to hear from you!

We are already thinking about next year, so - while it is fresh in your mind -
please let us know what we did well, what you would like to see done differently,
and any ideas/suggestions you may have to make next year even better. Some things
already in the works: dry-land get togethers and training, some optional ski days at
Jackson Hole and Grand Targhee, a SCSSA event with guest athletes (skier and
snowboarders), and a movie night.

Have a great spring break, and we look forward to seeing everyone Saturday, April
4th up at White Pine.

Any questions, comments, suggestions, or concerns? - Please don't hesitate to
